What you will do:
Design and conduct marketing research on MRO competitors and customers. Analyze industry trends, market segments, and positioning opportunities. Plan marketing campaigns linking strategic customer opportunities to AMES core competencies and competitive advantages. Supply marketing research data to leverage sales system priorities and focus. Promote AMES brand awareness, internally & externally, through collateral production, social media, tradeshow management, and direct customer marketing. Contribute to AMES business planning and strategic thinking.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (prefer major in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Engineering).ORRelated Associates Degree and 3 years of relevant experience. OR 6 years of marketing related experience.
Knowledge of sales, business, and marketing processes.
Ability to explore various media to conduct market research. Strong business acumen with analytical and data manipulation/presentation skills.
Record of ethical, responsive customer service.
Self-motivated, positive demeanor, able to work independently or incollaboration with ateam.
Planning & organizational skills necessary to prioritize & coordinate workload and resources in a multi-project setting
Ability to make decisions, work under pressure, fulfill deadline commitments, & demonstrate excellent judgement while continuously multi-tasking and producing thorough, accurate & complete work.
Experience using social media as a marketing tool (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.); email & web based applications; Experience using graphic design software such as Corel, Photoshop, Adobe, etc
A valid U.S. driver’s license and U.S. passport is required.
Preferred Job Skills:
Prior Marketing experience, particularly in an airline, MRO, OEM environment would be a plus.
Must be able to carry/move trade show materials up to 25 pounds
Must be physically able to travel via air and ground transportation both domestically and internationally
