Tampa, FL - Recruiting Representative

Summary Description Of Position

This position is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to Pemco World Air Services’ leaders and associates. This individual will perform full life-cycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, state employment agencies, aviation schools, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near and long term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required. 


Minimum Requirements And Qualification

  1. 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience and or training.
  3. Ability to use MS Office software (i.e., Word and Excel)
  4. A wide degree of creativity, near and long term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization

Major Responsibilities Areas and Duties:

  1. Review requisitions covering unfilled jobs, screen applications on file, contact applicants, and schedule placement interviews.
  2. Confer with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  3. Write complete and detailed search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Pemco leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  5. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
  6. Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  7. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
  8. Attend Career Fairs and build relationships with Military placement departments.
  9. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  10. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
  11. Prescreens candidates. Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
  12. Coordinates communication with candidates.
  13. Interviews candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and include the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
  14. Prepares candidates for interviewing with Pemco and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
  15. Works cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
  16. Visits all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
  17. Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  18. Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  19. Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-Art recruiting practices.  
  20. Make periodic follow-up placement interviews for the purpose of evaluating and defining techniques used in recruitment, placement, and processing of new employees.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources necessary for the normal day operation, not determined at time of hire.
