Component Repair and Overhaul Painter
Position: Painter
Base Pay: $13.00 - $20.30/hour
Employee Type: Full Time
Leads Others: No
Required Education: HS Diploma or GED
Required Experience: 2 years

What you will do:
Work of a painter in the repair, modification, service and overhaul of all preparation/painting of aircraft equipment and/or related equipment on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance program requirements, within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and customer standards of quality. Perform additional duties as assigned. This position will report to one of the Production Supervisors.
What you need:
High School Diploma OR GED
2 years of finish coat experience in automotive or aircraft painting
Experience with epoxy, polyurethane paints and fiberglass repairs
Experience in paint preparation of large aluminum surfaces to include seam sealing and chemical treatment
Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to CFR Part 145 repair station operations
What you need:
High School Diploma OR equivalent
2 years of finish coat experience in automotive or aircraft painting
Experience with epoxy, polyurethane paints and fiberglass repairs
Experience in paint preparation of large aluminum surfaces to include seam sealing and chemical treatment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Prior hands-on paint and refinishing experience in a heavy maintenance environment
Prior experience at a FR Part 145 repair station
Physical Requirements:
Eye/hand coordination and clear field of vision
Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work in tight and confined spaces with respiratory equipment
Ability to bend, crawl, twist, and other positions and sustain the position for extended period of time
Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situations
