This position is responsible for all Materials activities pertaining to the support of Cargo Conversion modifications. Also, responsible to oversee the duties and responsibilities of the Materials personnel assigned to support Cargo Conversions Materials Department.

1. A bachelor's degree in Logistics (or a relevant field) with three (3) years of experience in management (OR) a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the Materials field, three (3) being in management.
2. Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
3. Strong organization, planning and leadership skills.
4. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
6. Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
7. Extensive knowledge of aircraft materials; hardware, material substitutions, manuals, and specifications.
8. Knowledge of international shipping, invoicing, customs requirements and other rules and regulations governing the logistics of material both in conus and abroad.
9. Working Knowledge of FAA Part Manufacturing Authority (PMA) Procedures.
10. Experience in Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development manufacturing and provisioning.
11. Ability to Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings.

1. Prepares Bills of Material and Kit Listings.
2. Interfaces with Vendors on Service-Related Issues.
3. Supervises Subordinate Staff, For Expediting, Material Sales, and Kit Buildup.
4. Prepares material and parts substitution listings, spare parts breakdown listings, shipping and receiving documentation, and contractual and other reports.
5. Accomplishes inventories and inventory reconciliation, source catalog research records preparation and maintenance, and records, analysis, and material status reporting, to include coordination with other departments where required.
6. Responsible for the forecasting of materials needed for Cargo Conversion.
7. Oversees receiving and warehousing.
8. Establishes stock levels.
9. Interface with Production and Materials Personnel Regarding All Material Issues.
10. Effects timely follow-up.
11. Performs expediting, as necessary.
12. Maintains close coordination with Procurement in expediting delivery dates.
13. Maintains follow-up to ensure arrival of parts, material, sub-assemblies, etc. at prescribed destination, as scheduled.
14. Prepare reports, documentation, memorandums, and maintain files to accomplish assigned mission.
