Human Resources: Human Resources Coordinator

Position: Human Resources  
Employee Type: Full Time  
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent  
   

 

What you will do:

This position monitors trending job boards & other social media to source qualified candidates.  The ideal applicant for this position will have experience presenting a value proposition delivered through cold calls and a track record of success. The position provides administrative support for various Human Resources responsibilities, including confidential administration of employee records, Workers' Compensation, Medical, Personal, Military & FMLA leaves of absence, Recruiting processes, FAA Drug/Alcohol Program, benefits, policies manual, etc.  Additional daily activities will include generating various routine and ad-hoc reports from HRIS and other database systems, providing excellent customer service by responding to routine inquiries about HR functions, procedures and company policies.   This Position reports directly to the Director, Human Resources.

What you need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2 Years Human Resources, payroll or related experience 

  • Excellent personal computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, Database Searches, etc.)

  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced office environment with many interruptions

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with both internal and external customers in a diverse workforce

  • Self-motivated ability to use independent judgment to suggest solutions and handle unusual situations in a professional manner

  • Ability to support sensitive information and processes confidentially

 

 

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Prior Human Resources Recruiting/Cold Calling experience

  • Proficiency with Infinium HRIS system

  • Familiarity with regulations of FAA drug testing, Workers Compensation, and FMLA
