Summary Description Of Position

This position will perform various administrative tasks and assist HR in any recruiment needs.

This position's responsibilities include updating company employee records with new hire information, screening resumes and scheduling interviews, maintaining files and any other additional administrative work assigned by the HR Director. 

Minimum Requirements And Qualification

  1. Bachelor's Degree (preferably with a focus in Human Resources/Business) or 3 years experience in equivelant field. 
  2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  3. Able to work independently with moderate level of direction
  4. Able to adapt to changing priorities
  5. Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  6. Must have strong work ethic
  7. Able to work independently with moderate level of direction and possess strong organizational and time management skills
  8. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  9. Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  10. Excellent basic computer and software skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc…)

Major Responsibility Areas and Duties

  1. Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
  2. Screen resumes and application forms
  3. Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
  4. Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
  5. Prepare HR-related reports as needed 
  6. Confer with HR Director to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Airborne leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  8. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
  9. Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  10. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
  11. Participate in organizing company events and careers days
  12. Attend Career Fairs and build relationships with Military placement departments.
  13. Works cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
  14. Works with all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
  15. Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  16. Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  17. Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-Art recruiting practices.  

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
  2. Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a normal office environment.
  3. Ability to withstand constant to intermittent noise levels.
