Line Maintenance Utility Technician CVG

Position: Utility Technician

What you will do:

This position will perform general maintenance in support of maintenance activities such as; open, clean, treat and close aircraft structures, in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance program requirements, within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and customer standards of quality while under supervisory guidance.  Performs additional duties as assigned. This position reports to one of the Line Maintenance Supervisors.

What you need:

  • High school diploma OR equivalent
  • 2 years experience in any industry utilizing basic mechanical skills
  • Must provide tools as listed on required tool listing

Preferred Requirements:

  • Airframe and Powerplant License or currently enrolled in A&P school
  • Previous experience as a utility mechanic
  • Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to CFR Part 145 repair station operations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions 
  • Eye/hand coordination and clear field of vision
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in tight and confined spaces with respiratory equipment
  • Ability to bend, crawl, twist, stoop, kneel, squat and other positions and sustain the position for extended period of time
  • Ability to work with arms raised above head and perform repetitive tasks & motions
  • Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situations
